Error 3194 in iTunes when restoring firmware

It seems that it could be easier than flashing an Apple device... But in reality, everything turns out to be not so simple. On forums, hundreds of users ask questions about how to update an iPhone or iPad. An equally serious problem that users are talking about is how to fix errors that occur when the iPhone firmware is updated via iTunes. We will examine all these questions in today’s article. We will pay most attention to one of the common errors that occurs when updating an iPhone via iTunes, under code 3194.

Why flash iPhone firmware?

The main goal of restoring an iOS gadget is to return it to its original settings and upgrade the operating system version. Typically the operation is performed in the following situations:

  • when software failures occur;
  • to install the “fresh” version of iOS;

iTunes Recovery Method

  • Downloads and installs the latest iTunes software.
