In principle, all these disadvantages were managed with one crutch or another - synchronization of notebooks via Dropbox, third-party clients under Android and IOS, backups to external storage. However, as MS Office developed and SkyDrive appeared, the crutches fell off and died, and this moment OneNote is actually on par with Evernote in its capabilities, and in some places even surpasses it.
