Its malfunction manifests itself in the fact that the gadget, after being completely discharged, does not want to charge or turn on after being fully charged. A problem with turning on may occur during a deep discharge, if the gadget has been in a discharged state for a long time. To resolve the problem, you can use the three most well-known methods:


Rapid discharge of a charged battery may indicate that it is time to replace it. The batteries of gadgets that are charged using non-original chargers are most susceptible to this defect. The thing is that they can produce too much or, conversely, very little current that does not fit into the range established by the manufacturer. This has an extremely negative effect on the battery capacity and leads to its premature wear.

If the original power adapter fails and it cannot be repaired, you must purchase a similar one from a specialized store.

In some cases, the device may not charge and may not turn on or turn off immediately after the charging process begins. The cause of the malfunction can be three elements:

  • battery;
  • non-original charger;
  • power controller.

    • if the display shows an empty battery icon, an electrical plug and an arrow pointing to lightning, then another 4–6 hours are needed to charge, since there is a deep discharge or the battery has not been charged for a long time;

      If the screen displays the symbols of an electrical plug and an arrow pointing to a lightning bolt, it means that the battery is completely discharged and its capacity needs to be restored

    • After fully charged, turn on the device.
  3. The device does not turn on after a software failure and does not respond to the Power button. We perform the following operations:
    • hard reboot, for which we press the Home and Power keys simultaneously for 10 seconds;
    • connecting the device to the power supply.

      You cannot leave the gadget in a discharged state for a long time. This does not have the best effect on battery capacity. With timely recharging, the battery life is extended to its nominal value.
