A musician friend helped me optimally configure the player’s equalizer and from that moment jetAudio became my main audio player on iDevices. The only thing missing was support for the iPad player.

The player on iPad works in vertical/horizontal modes. The update also added another in-app purchase “Crystalizer” (some new sound effect..)

Key player features:

  • Controlling music playback with gestures: double tapping on the screen stops/continues playing, swiping left/right on the screen leads to playing the next/previous song.
  • Displaying song lyrics (if they were included in ID3 tags).
  • Repeat playback mode for a single song or an entire album/playlist.
  • Possibility of listening to a given segment of a piece of music.

  • The player can sort songs by album/artist. Supports “Lists” – these are the same playlists that we create in iTunes.

In “Folders” you can copy music files of various formats from your PC (via iTunes or via Wi-Fi) - FLAC, etc. Now you don’t need another player from the App Store to listen to FLAC.

Songs of a particular album can be swapped or deleted.

Also, for the selected playlist, it is possible to smartly sort songs according to one of the criteria:

  • You can control the song playback speed by increasing or decreasing it.
  • The player has a built-in timer - you can set the interval after which the music will stop.

I most often listen to music on iDevices or wireless headphones Beats Wireless (on an iPhone), or in a wired Beats urBeats stereo headset (on a tablet).

The player allows you to memorize up to 4 custom settings equalizer. There is also a set of pre-installed presets... I would classify the rest of the in-app purchases as unnecessary “beauties”, so I won’t pay attention to them. To summarize, we can safely say: jetAudio Music Player is one of the best audio players on the App Store today. The player is not overloaded with unnecessary settings, allows you to customize the sound to suit the user's needs, and can play in the background. The only thing the application lacks is its own widget for the Notification Panel. However, nothing prevents us from controlling the player’s playback from the Control Center or on the lock screen.

I downloaded and installed it, well, to see how much it had changed and was a little surprised, because there were almost no changes. This is almost the same JetAudio that was before.

I think the player is good, but in my opinion it’s still better to use KMPlayer for video, it’s still specialized in this matter and codecs are already built into it. JetAudio also has all sorts of effects for sound processing and a convenient playlist.

The player itself is in English, but you can also find versions in Russian on the Internet. Or just download the crack.

Guys, there’s such a joke here, well, the article turned out to be a little big, this is all because JetAudio didn’t want to be deleted and I had to tinker a little! I immediately apologize if anything is wrong! But the player still managed to be deleted!

In general, what can I say about the player. I'll write this as a list:

  • the player contains additional tools for converting files, recording sound, burning files to disk; supports both audio and video, which makes it essentially a media combiner; access to all these features is implemented in the form of buttons that are located above the equalizer;
  • the sound effects are worth trying;
  • you can select a song using a block of cubes, where the cubes themselves are files; I think it’s a good idea;
  • visualization of the equalizer in the form of colored stripes; The colors of the stripes themselves can be changed; I can’t call it a feature, but I think it’s a nice little thing;
  • There is a paid version and there is a free version (Basic); So, for me, the free version is more than enough for listening to music and watching movies;
  • the player does not load the processor;
  • supports a bunch of different covers, but they need to be downloaded from the Internet, because the set is a meager set;
  • In general, it’s a decent player, the only thing I didn’t like was that when I installed it, Yandex.Bar was also installed on my system; To prevent this from happening, check the boxes when installing and remove all left ones;

How to completely remove JetAudio from your computer?

If you are not happy with JetAudio, then of course it is better to remove it, because the less programs you have on your computer, the faster it works. Well, something like this

So, to uninstall, click Start and select Control Panel there:


If you have Windows 10, then this is cool, no doubt, but there this item is in the menu that is called Win + X!

Then we find and launch the Programs and Features icon:


Now a list of all the software that you have in Windows will open. Here you need to find JetAudio, click right click and select Delete:

Users note that the player is good and plays even better than Aimp! Well, what can I say here, maybe it’s true, the player is not some kind of shabby one, that’s for sure. I myself sat on it for a long time, but when I bought a separate sound card(By the way Asus Xonar DX), then switched to Foobar2000...

In general, I thought that was all, but it turned out that not. And the whole joke was that JetAudio still didn’t uninstall in the end! I noticed this purely by chance, because I couldn’t even think that this could happen. This is such an unusual jamb

In general, there is a JetAudio shortcut on the desktop, as if I didn’t even delete the player. To be honest, this is the first time I’ve seen this. Well, okay, if he doesn’t want to delete it, then I’ll try to do it manually. I would also advise you to pay attention to a special remover, it will help remove the program and then clean the remaining debris.

Well, so, but how to delete without resorting to third-party software? Look what I did. Next you need to delete the folder with the program, it can be in this folder:

C:\Program Files\

Or in this one:

C:\Program Files (x86)\

By the way, which folder you have JetAudio in can be easily determined by the player shortcut, just right-click on it and select the file location there and then the folder where JetAudio is located will open. Then just go up a level.

In general, we found the JetAudio folder, right-click on it and select Delete:

But when deleting I got this error:


Apparently JetAudio decided to resist! But never mind, install the utility, it just knows how to delete such stubborn folders. Then again I clicked on this folder, but there I already selected the Unlocker item:

Then I clicked on the Unblock all button. Then there will be some kind of Explorer error, but I clicked restart and then everything returned as it was. Then I again went to Program Files, right-clicked on the JetAudio folder and there was already such a window:


Here you need to select Delete and click OK. And in the end the deletion was successful, the following message appeared:

Then I rebooted, well, to check that everything was OK and that the folder would not appear again. But no, nothing like that happened later. And what’s most important is that in the menu, well, when I right-clicked on music files, there were no JetAudio items there! This is the menu, as you can see there are no traces of JetAudio:


Now here's what else to do, open the %AppData% folder, to do this, just hold down Win + R and paste this command there and click OK:


Then find the COWON folder there, this is JetAudio, right-click and select Delete:


It should be deleted without any glitches, that is, without problems (if anything, delete using Unlocker)

In principle, that's all! But there is one more thing, I did this, but you see for yourself, if you’re not too lazy, do it too. I mean clear the registry of all traces left after JetAudio. If you're interested, here's how to do it. Press Win + R and type the regedit command there:

Introduction

The application contains 4 widgets (1x1, 2x2, 4x1 and 4x2) - any of them can be “stretched” and given absolutely any size, also widgets (except 1x1) have on the album cover playback control start/pause button.

A short touch on the widgets themselves or on the arrow button located on them (except for the 1x1 widget, which is itself a button) opens a panel with music controls, a timer, an alarm clock and the player logo, which moves to the player interface.

Also on this panel there may be a button in the form of a “wrench” that calls up the page (in English - it can also be called using the MortPlayer Widgets shortcut in the menu installed applications) for more flexible configuration of widgets, for example, in the Background item you can change the background of the widgets (they can be black, white, translucent and completely transparent - except for the 1x1 widget), and the Play/pause symbol on cover item sets or removes the start button on the album cover /pause.

The developer of this player has not forgotten about audiobook lovers, offering to download the corresponding application for free from the Market - MortPlayer Audio Books.

Impression: The interface is quite confusing, but there are rich settings, impressive options for changing the appearance and a large selection of widgets.

General impression

All the music players reviewed in this review have their own advantages that distinguish them from each other and make them suitable for completely different music lovers: Cloudskipper is beautiful and devoid of the disadvantages inherent in the built-in player, jetAudio Basic has advanced equalizer settings, and MortPlayer boasts a variety of appearance. As for awarding them points, I got the following picture: Cloudskipper - 9 points, jetAudio Basic - 8 points, MortPlayer - 7 points.

It is worth mentioning that this player is a port from a desktop media processor that is popular among PC users. Mobile versions two: free (Basic) and paid (Plus). IN free version The app predictably contains advertising and lacks some advanced features.

JetAudio Basic has a simple and beautiful design with plenty of visuals and has all the essential features you'd expect to find in an app like this: creating playlists and adding tracks to existing playlists and even folders, searching by songs, artists and albums, and equalizer with wide possibilities for customizing music listening in accordance with the individual preferences of the listener.

It’s worth taking a closer look at the equalizer. It has ten bands, and settings can be set according to 32 parameters. It is possible to change the playback speed and apply effects: for example, echo, reverberation, surround sound or those that increase the clarity of the sound or create the effect that you have a real tube amplifier in your smartphone. Thanks to this, even the most discerning music lovers will be able to enjoy highest quality sound. However, in order to use all the effects without restrictions, you must purchase the Plus version. The paid version will also be needed for those who want to synchronize their last.fm account with JetAudio.

I was very pleased with the fact that this player supports a large number of the most different formats(in addition to standard .mp3 and .wav, you can play files in .ogg, .flac, .m4a, etc. formats).

By installing JetAudio on your smartphone or tablet, you can also use convenient widgets (just don’t transfer them to your memory card!).

Many fans of PowerAmp JetAudio were not convinced. Most often, they are not satisfied with the interface, the operation of widgets (especially on the lockscreen), the display of album covers and other parameters by which users determine the “usability” of a particular player. However, it would be foolish to argue that PowerAmp is inferior to JetAudio in terms of sound. And for the sake of this, true music lovers will be ready to put up with some shortcomings of the new and very promising player.

Unfortunately, not everything is rosy with this project. Some advanced audio settings are added and removed by developers from release to release, apparently in order to compete with products that are easier to use (such as the aforementioned PowerAmp or the equally popular WinAmp).

However, I highly recommend installing JetAudio and listening to your favorite music on it. I am sure this will bring true pleasure to many.
