Method 1. The Wi-Fi network name and password (key) are located on the back of the modem (terminal).

Step 1

Turn the modem over.

Step 2

Option 1. If on the back of the modem there is the inscription “SSID1” and “WPA-PSK”, then “SSID1” is the name of the Wi-Fi wireless network, and “WPA-PSK” is the password (key) for connecting to it.

Option 2. If there is an inscription "SSID1" and no inscription "WPA-PSK", then we look for the inscription "SN". "SSID1" is the name of the Wi-Fi wireless network, and "SN" is the password (key) to connect to it.

Please note that capital letters may be written here!

Note: If the “Wi-Fi” indicator on the modem does not light up, then you need to press the “Wi-Fi” button 1 time (without holding it down) so that the indicator lights up.

Method 2. Wi-Fi network name and password (key) in the modem (terminal) settings.

Step 1

Connect the cable from the computer to the modem to port 1 (LAN1).

Step 2

Open a browser, for example Google Chrome, and enter "192.168.100.1" (without quotes) in the address bar.

Step 3

In the “Username” field enter “admin”, in the “Password” field enter “admin” (all without quotes). Click the “Login” button.

The password is designed to reliably protect home network from burglary. When this happens, the signal speed drops, making it impossible to fully use the Internet - download movies and programs, play online games. The support service advises setting a password of at least 8 characters in the Latin layout.

Changing the Byfly wi-fi password is necessary if:

  • changed operating system on PC;
  • Reset your phone or tablet to factory settings;
  • The old password has become public.

The Byfly provider installs the network on all router models. Let's look at how to change the Wi-Fi password using modem settings on the Promsvyaz m200a modem.
To begin, in any browser installed on your computer, enter the line 192.168.1.1.

Please note that this combination only works on the Promsvyaz m200a Wi-Fi router. If you have a modem from another company, look at the combination of numbers on the back of the device.
A window for entering your login and password will appear. You need to enter the username admin and password admin, and don’t forget to click “Ok”.

The setup menu will then appear. Go to the Interface Setup tab, then to the Wireless tab.


In these fields you can easily change the password, and if necessary, the network name (SSID). To save the settings, you must click the Save button.

Different models of routers are equipped with their own interface, which makes it difficult to change the password on WiFi from the Belarusian company “Byfly”.

To change the password for Wi-Fi Byfly on a ZTE modem, open Internet browser Explorer. Use your built-in Internet browser, as third-party browsers may not read the entered data correctly. You need to enter 192.168.1.1 into the browser line, after which the corresponding replacement fields will appear wifi password on Byfly ZTE.

Enter admin in the login and password field and click Login.

In a new window, open the WAN tab, then WAN Connection.

How to create a strong password

Create a 10-character password, preferably using lowercase and uppercase letters and numbers.

A good password would be a phrase from your favorite book, written in English or in reverse order. Try also removing vowels or consonants from words.
Use your imagination when creating a new password, and then the network will be reliably protected from hacking!

To change the password on a TP-Link router, first of all we need to get into the control panel of the device. I’ve talked about this many times, but I’ll repeat it briefly:

  • log into the browser and enter the router address into the search bar;
  • log into the admin panel of the router;
