Where have the Armenian satellite channels gone? Armenian channels. New technical parameters

Armenian television Shant TV appeared on another satellite transponder HOT BIRD 6 (13°E). Before this, the channel was broadcasting from tp. 126 (11.034 GHz, pol. V, SR: 27500, FEC: 3/4; DVB-S/QPSK), now also with tp. 133 (11.179 GHz, pol. H, SR: 27500, FEC: 3/4; DVB-S/QPSK). Obviously, broadcasting using the old parameters will soon be completed.

Shant TV was founded in 1994 in Gyumri, the second largest city in Armenia. 7 years later, the company in Yerevan began regular broadcasting. Initially Shant TV specialized in information programs, after 2002, the network schedule became more attractive for programming - entertainment, game and reality shows, and series were added. Today it is one of the leading television channels in Armenia. The channel appeared on the HOT BIRD (13°E) satellites at the end of 2008.

The problem is due to external peering of Rostelecom to Frankfurt and because of the holidays they are in no hurry to fix the problem. IN currently Our traffic is peered through Stockholm Rostelecom PNI, which has no problems. Frankfurt Rostelecom PNI (which is experiencing problems) will be returned as soon as the traffic provider receives a response and interaction from Rostelecom. For now, all traffic will be on problem-free peering through Stockholm. Once the traffic provider achieves a result on the balancing route, the route will be switched back to Frankfurt. One should also take into account the high load on the currently active route through Stockholm and the attendant risk of overloading it.
Users with other providers may have problems due to the fact that they use the same peering networks as Rostelecom. Unfortunately, we can’t do anything more on our part, no matter how unpleasant this situation is for us and for you. We hoped that Rostelecom would be able to fix something today on working day, but they didn’t even respond to the Germans about their own problem. Looks like everyone gives a fuck as always

Had two packages. NTV+NR and also NTV+ the one where you choose channels. IN personal account I wanted to temporarily suspend one package, but it disappeared completely. Everything happened so quickly that I didn’t remember. How to restore it? Several years ago there was such a service - package suspension, but they did not disappear. Now it's all gone?

Tuner settings
To perform channel scanning in the receiver, you must perform initial setup tuner - select the satellites that you receive and specify the necessary settings in their parameters.
Let's look at setting up the tuner using the example of two satellites Eutelsat 36B/Express AMU1 36.0°E and Hotbird 13.0°E. In the DiSEqC settings example, the switch will not be used, i.e. the receiver must be connected by cable to a converter installed on a dish tuned to the corresponding satellite. To configure the tuner, open Menu->Settings->Search for services->Tuner settings->select the model of the installed tuner by clicking the “OK” button.

In our case, Tuner A: Alps BSBE2 (DVB-S2) is installed.
After clicking the “OK” button, we get to the tuner settings menu “Reception Settings” / “Reception Parameters”, in which we specify the necessary settings.
For the Hotbird 13.0°E satellite the settings will be as follows:
“Configuration Mode”: select – “advanced” / “extended” (selected using the left/right remote control buttons)
"Satellite" / "Satellite": - "Eutelsat Hotbird 13B/13C/13E (13.0E)"
“LNB”: select the converter number - in my case it is “LNB2”

“LOF”: select the option of using a universal converter - “universal LNB” / “universal LNB”, such converters are used to receive a signal in linear polarization

“Increase voltage”: if a short length of coaxial cable is used, select “no”, otherwise indicate “yes”, which allows you to compensate for the voltage drop on a long coaxial cable

For the Eutelsat 36B/Express AMU1 36.0°E satellite, the settings will be as follows:
"Satellite"/"Satellite": - "Eutelsat 36B/Express AMU1 36.0°E"
“LNB”: select the converter number - in my case it is “LNB4”
“Priority”/“Sequence”: leave “auto”/“Automatically”
“LOF”: select an option manual installation parameters - “User defined”
Please note the three parameters below are used for this satellite, the converter must be set to Circular.
"LOF/L": - 10750
"LOF/H": - 10750
"Heterodyne": - 10750

“Voltage Mode”/“Voltage Mode”: leave the value - “Polarization”/“Polarization”
“Increase voltage”/“Increased voltage”: “no”
“Tone mode”: leave the value - “Band” / “Range”
“DiSEqC mode”/“DiSEqC mode”: select the option without using DiSEqC - “no”/“none”

We save the settings we have set.

Channel scanning.
Let's look at an example of how to manually scan the channels of the NTV+ package, which comes from the Eutelsat 36E satellite. The package description indicates the transponders from which the package channels operate. Let's take the 11785 R 27500 FEC 3/4 DVB-S2/8PSK transponder as an example. To scan it, go to Menu->Settings->Search for services->Manual search

Set scanning parameters:
“Scan type”: - “User defined transponder”
"System": - "DVB-S2"
“Satellite”: - “Eutelsat 36B/Express AMU1 36.0°E”
"Frequency": - "11785"
"Inversion": - "Auto"
"Flow speed": - "27500"
“Polarization”: - “circular right” (R - circular right, L - circular left)
"FEC": - "3/4"
"Modulation": - "8PSK"
"Roll-off factor": - "0.35"
"Pilot": - "Auto"
“Network scan”: - “no”
“Clean before scanning”: - “no”
“Free only”: - “no”

Then press the “OK” button on the remote control or the green button to activate transponder scanning. The same actions will need to be carried out with all transponders specified in the package description.

The first commercial satellite package in the history of Armenia, called Shant Premium, began broadcasting in Conax encoding and thus we can say that the history of satellite pay television in this country has begun. This project has been previously reported. Since publication, two more channels have appeared in the mini-pack - Shant Music and Armenia HD. Thus, owners of the recommended satellite receivers can receive seven TV channels from Armenia from the position of 13 degrees east longitude, from where the broadcast is carried out. All that remains is to find out the prices per view. We inform you.

In order to watch the encoded channels of the mini-package, you must purchase the New glee GL-S850 satellite receiver. This receiver is made in China and is a “close relative” of the EVO-07 model of the Russian Telekarta satellite DTH package.

Its cost on the operator’s official website is 25 thousand drams (Armenian currency). Converted to Russian rubles, this is approximately 3,000 RUB.

Subscribers of the newly-minted Armenian operator can subscribe either to one channel (Shant Premium) for 1,500 drams (180 rubles) per month, or to the entire package for 2,500 drams (300 rubles per month). Thus, it becomes clear why the cost of the premium package was previously indicated subscription fee 2-4 dollars per month.

All Armenian channels are only on the Hotbird satellite. The list is small, this moment only four. In order to connect them, you need to install a dish and an attachment. The antenna is installed outside the window towards the southwest. The satellite coordinates for Moscow are azimuth 209°, elevation above the horizon 23°. There is a cable running inside the apartment to the TV, next to which the receiver is installed. On it you can tune only Armenian channels or scan the entire list free programs different languages. How to find the correct transponders and enter new parameters is described in the tuner user manual in the “settings” section. The necessary data - ranges and codes - are indicated at the end of the current page. Satellite television hotbird does not interfere with watching and does not interfere with existing cable or terrestrial television.
